Scores and columns
After matching, atlas attaches scores to each record. What can leave the platform is limited to columns cleared for clients.
What attaches to a record
Section titled “What attaches to a record”| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| Catalog scores | Scores from 0 to 1 for the models the client picked, each with the model version and date. |
| Picks | Whether the record is in each model’s pick band. |
| Audience group label | When an audience has been split into groups, the group the record belongs to. |
| Record facts | Cleared demographic and household facts, such as age band and state. |
Cleared columns
Section titled “Cleared columns”Only fields cleared for clients can be exported. When a requested column is not cleared, the export names it as refused rather than dropping it silently, so a file never looks complete when it is not.
Dates and versions
Section titled “Dates and versions”Every score in a delivery carries the date it was made and the model version that made it. The package manifest records the score version each person was sent under. A result that comes back months later can be traced to the exact scores that put the person in the audience.
Unscored is not zero
Section titled “Unscored is not zero”When a model cannot see a person, the score is left empty. A downstream system that treats empty as zero will rank unscored people as least likely, which is wrong. Keep empty values empty, or filter on the pick column instead.
